7067 Steering Cylinder
The 7067 steering cylinder is a durable, solid cylinder that offers strength and flexibility in sizing and rudder movement for marine vessels. Made for medium rudder sizes and twin tiller arms, the 7067 is only available in an unbalanced version.
For unbalanced, the 7067 has the following torque, stroke and displacement ranges. Assuming two cylinders at 2,000 PSI (138 bar) at a 35 degree rudder angle / 45 degree rudder angle.
Torque: 10,235 to 20,470 lbs. ft. (1,415 to 2,830 kg/m) / 7,165 to 14,330 lbs. ft. (991 to 1,982 kg/m)
Stroke: 10″ to 20″ (254 mm to 508 mm)
Displacement: 86 in3 to 172 in3 (1,409 cm3 to 2,819 cm3)
Kobelt requires a steering gear torque or rudder calculation be done before sizing or ordering any steering system, to ensure the correct mix of pressure, displacement, stroke, parts and torque.
